How do you show what's possible in the future?  You could always write a report or create a PowerPoint.  I'm a big believer in making the future seem real … How?  By putting the users into the future today by creating an immersive experience.  Let them see, touch, smell, taste the future today.

A few weeks back, I was part of officially opening the Disneyland Innoventions Dream Home.  This is a 5,000 square foot house inside Disneyland's Tomorrowland that gives you the experience of a complete digital lifestyle.  The home uses technology available today plus some that are coming in the near future.

This is a unique attraction for Disney as its designed to allow the guests to truly interact with the home.  You can set on the couch and watch a video, you can walk to the wall and turn on and off the lights … you can immerse yourself so that you get the full experience of what it would be like to live in this house.
