UPDATE:  I’ve now setup a channel on blip.tv for the growing set of killer innovation video’s.  The URL for the show is: http://killerinnovations.blip.tv/.   I will be uploading the back catalog a few at a time.

The first video I posted was the Maker Faire presentation . . .

Feel free to embed the video:

Below is the link to the video (WARNING: ~200 MB) from my presentation (Creating Killer Innovations) at Maker Faire.   The video includes the “slides” I presented using a new presentation software tool (Prezi).

This presentation covers the similar material to what I’ve presented before (e.g. FIRE + PO) but aimed at the individual inventor/maker.

  1. Hi Phil,
I just watched -and enjoyed- your presentation video. Very inspiring.
    Thank you.
I often met individual inventors with good ideas, not knowing how to make the first stept into execution. Most often the gap was the right form of financing a prototype. Not getting the money, but the idea of how a funding should or could look like: Ask friends and family, instead of the bank. I think, “garage” success stories mostly not only dealed with good product ideas, but also with good financing ideas.
    Best regards,
    Frank

Phil – Prezi is a fascinating tool. Attempted to download/watch the video, but libsyn seems to be choking on the clip.
    Re-post through blip.tv or similar?
    Best,
    Dan
