Success comes from creating jaw dropping new products and not by restructuring the organization.
It seems obvious but its not. Many senior executives have the mistaken impression that what is needed is a new organization structure in order to come up with that new killer product idea. Rather than focusing on structure, why not focus on creating and nurturing a corporate culture that empowers the organization to create those killer innovations.
For those of you who have known me for awhile, I’ll leave it to you to guess as to when I uttered this quote.
